Hamid Kherchi came free with the goalkeeper in the 4th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ammuch Cixous could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Hamid Kherchi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wrea Green AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamid Kherchi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ammuch Cixous breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Wrea Green AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lamine Bouteflika came free, but Rachid Bouazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lamine Bouteflika came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Thorne City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lamine Bouteflika couldn't finish the play. After 36 played minutes Wrea Green AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sammy Banouas. Wrea Green AFC's Rachid Bouazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacer Dib in the 38th minute of play. Nacer Dib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Bouazza having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Hamid Kherchi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wrea Green AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamid Kherchi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ammuch Cixous breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ayoub Deriassa to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Hamid Kherchi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wrea Green AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thorne City the free kick. Ammuch Cixous didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hamid Kherchi went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Aksil Hammad charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aksil Hammad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nacer Dib struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Rachid Bouazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thorne City. In the 69th match minute, Thorne City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malik Ghoumari to maneuver through the defense. Ayoub Deriassa struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ammuch Cixous didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wrea Green AFC. Fouad El Kettani kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute Lamine Bouteflika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Bouazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wrea Green AFC's Hamid Kherchi got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lamine Bouteflika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Thorne City's goal looked a bit too open when Ayoub Deriassa came free, but Ammuch Cixous reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Thorne City's zone, Hamid Kherchi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ammuch Cixous came out of the goal and Hamid Kherchi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hamid Kherchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ammuch Cixous tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ammuch Cixous took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayoub Deriassa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wrea Green AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
