Imad Abbas charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Kader Bedjaoui scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Akawel Aboulker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Allaoua Saïd-Guerni in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mahboub Bilal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafik Hamid Brahima hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Burnham on Sea AFC's Abdel Benyoucef got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Kader Bedjaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akawel Aboulker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Imad Ouyahia's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Imad Ouyahia to strike the kick off in the second half. Allaoua Saïd-Guerni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Allaoua Saïd-Guerni fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meldreth City's protests and gave Allaoua Saïd-Guerni a yellow card for diving instead. Kader Bedjaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akawel Aboulker having to interfere. Burnham on Sea AFC's Kader Bedjaoui got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Imad Ouyahia struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Akawel Aboulker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burnham on Sea AFC. Ismaïl Hadjadj's late challenge caught a Meldreth City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Imad Ouyahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Burnham on Sea AFC had won after a very even match.
