The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 6th minute, Abdelaziz Hamid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abderazak Mhenni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mounir Arouani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Achir Taha during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oxted's Mounir Arouani got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdelaziz Hamid struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Khelifa Belloumi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barnetby Le Wold. Chérif Djamel hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Barnetby Le Wold's Omar Teissier got a free kick in the 26th minute. Moulay Massi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abderazak Mhenni in the 32nd minute of the match. Abderazak Mhenni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moulay Massi having to interfere. Barnetby Le Wold's Moulay Massi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abderazak Mhenni in the 36th minute of play. Moulay Massi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abderazak Mhenni in the 37th minute of play. When Mounir Arouani came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Oxted fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mounir Arouani couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute Abdelaziz Hamid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khelifa Belloumi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khelifa Belloumi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelaziz Hamid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdelaziz Hamid to make the kick off. If Ahmed Meskine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71stth minute of the game Abderazak Mhenni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barnetby Le Wold's Moulay Massi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
