Houd Kraouche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Madani Khelfellah made a huge save. Belkacem Kermali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akatelaji Abdelkrim having to interfere. Hickling's Akatelaji Abdelkrim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mounir Mazzid in the 13th minute of play. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Belkacem Kermali sped through Hickling's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Akatelaji Abdelkrim. After 24 played minutes Stratford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ziane Seghiri. After 27 minutes Stratford AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abdelmalek Al-Jazairia who took care of the corner kick. Mounir Mazzid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th match minute, Hickling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilal El Kebir to maneuver through the defense. After 38 minutes, Arsalane Bey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hickling and the Stratford AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rachid Ammour to strike the kick off in the second half. If Houd Kraouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. Akatelaji Abdelkrim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belkacem Kermali in the 77th minute of play. When Arsalane Bey was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. The supporters of Stratford AFC booed when Hickling was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsalane Bey didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Stratford AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Achraf Selmi hit a great ball. Zoheir Metref hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Houd Kraouche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hickling fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Akatelaji Abdelkrim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hickling fans cheered their team off the field, for while Stratford AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
