Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Solihull FC's Rachid Kharroubi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Akawel Zeghdoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Lounès Touhami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Solihull FC's Rabah Reda Madouni got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 8th minute of the match Mahieddine Diss sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lounès Touhami skillfully saved the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Penge's Akawel Zeghdoud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lounès Touhami narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Solihull FC's Newfel Daham got a free kick in the 17th minute. Akawel Zeghdoud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Mourad Oudjani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akawel Zeghdoud in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lounès Touhami saved Solihull FC from getting behind. If Rachid Kharroubi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, one of Penge:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Yacoub Makhloufi shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 36 minutes into the game, Penge's Adam Sellal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lounès Touhami made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Camel Saïdi-Sief made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rachid Kharroubi in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Abdessatar Bensari struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Camel Saïdi-Sief didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solihull FC. 56 minutes into the match, Adam Sellal notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Solihull FC's Lounès Touhami. Lounès Touhami was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 60 minutes into the match, Penge's goal looked a bit too open when Newfel Daham came free, but Camel Saïdi-Sief reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute of the match, Akawel Zeghdoud tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lounès Touhami saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Akawel Zeghdoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lounès Touhami having to interfere. After 71 minutes of play, Penge's Adam Sellal made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lounès Touhami was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Penge's goalkeeper Camel Saïdi-Sief, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Penge booed when Solihull FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Newfel Daham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Penge's Rafik Boukhari pulled a muscle in his back after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Rabah Reda Madouni fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Solihull FC's protests and gave Rabah Reda Madouni a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Penge's zone, Abdessatar Bensari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camel Saïdi-Sief came out of the goal and Abdessatar Bensari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd match minute, Penge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthar Fochtali to maneuver through the defense. Camel Saïdi-Sief showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rachid Kharroubi in the 94th minute of the match. The Penge supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Penge would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
