Bachir Tahar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdelhadi Maillot having to make a save. Youcef Benguedoudj's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afellan Sakrani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Afellan Sakrani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nadir El Ghazi in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Putney United's Nadir El Ghazi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afellan Sakrani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Abdelkrim Skif was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Putney United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Waterlooville FC the free kick. The supporters of Waterlooville FC booed when Putney United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelkrim Skif didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Tarik Belkhadem in the 20th minute really tested Abdelhadi Maillot's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Abdelhadi Maillot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bachir Tahar went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Waterlooville FC defense, Youcef Benguedoudj kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afellan Sakrani. The Waterlooville FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afellan Sakrani should have stopped the shot. Mehdi Taâllah hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Afellan Sakrani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youcef Benguedoudj in the 34th minute of play. Tarik Belkhadem kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Abdellah Cavalli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Putney United's Abdelhadi Maillot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Putney United from getting a goal against them. With his leg Abdelhadi Maillot managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Waterlooville FC's Bachir Tahar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Youcef Benguedoudj in the 52nd minute of play forced Waterlooville FC's goalkeeper Afellan Sakrani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waterlooville FC's Afellan Sakrani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Waterlooville FC from getting a goal against them. In the 59th match minute, Putney United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Taâllah to maneuver through the defense. Nadir El Ghazi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afellan Sakrani having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Putney United's goal looked a bit too open when Abdellah Cavalli came free, but Abdelhadi Maillot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nadir El Ghazi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afellan Sakrani having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Youcef Benguedoudj rounded Waterlooville FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. 80 minutes into the match, Bachir Tahar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdelhadi Maillot. Putney United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bachir Tahar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Bachir Tahar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, Bachir Tahar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Abdelhadi Maillot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bachir Tahar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelhadi Maillot having to interfere.
