The supporters of Wadebridge booed when Hoddesdon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Belmadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hamid Benguergoura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthar Rodesli in the 94th minute of play. After 99 minutes, Yahia Nasri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hoddesdon and the Wadebridge players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hoddesdon's Yahia Nasri got a free kick in the 99th minute. If Moïse Belhocine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 101st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Hoddesdon supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wadebridge's performance. The match ended with a win for Wadebridge.
