With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cheb Ulansi in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdelaziz El Amri saved Grasmere City from getting behind. In the 7th minute Arsan Soltani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abou Bakr Gourion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maamar Hammad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Abou Bakr Gourion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Grasmere City defense, Adza Mesli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdelaziz El Amri. The Grasmere City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdelaziz El Amri should have stopped the shot. Adza Mesli might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdelaziz El Amri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adza Mesli ran back to his position shaking his head. If Arsan Soltani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute of the game, Larbi Matoub landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Brockenhurst's Madjid Djamel got a free kick in the 44th minute.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maamar Hammad to make the kick off. If Adza Mesli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maamar Hammad might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abou Bakr Gourion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maamar Hammad ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Grasmere City's zone, Adza Mesli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdelaziz El Amri came out of the goal and Adza Mesli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Affi Saâdi came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Brockenhurst fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Affi Saâdi couldn't finish the play. When Maamar Hammad came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Grasmere City fans jumped to their feet. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Brockenhurst fully deserved thier win.
