Barking's Marwan Messai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Fanon in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Rezki Boufroura fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Elias Harkati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marwan Messai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Fanon, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Huntingdon were furious when Ketta Abbas was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Huntingdon! The referee gave Barking a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Yazid El Ibrahimi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Huntingdon's Fodil Lacen. 2-0. Rezki Boufroura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th of the match, Rezki Boufroura tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Fodil Lacen got in the way and made a wonderful save. Bouabdellah Saâdallah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Huntingdon's Mansour Belkhadem got a free kick in the 38th minute. Madjer Benida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodil Lacen having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Huntingdon got a freekick which was hit by Zinedine Zerouali. In the 47th minute of the match Barking got a corner. Huntingdon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yazid El Ibrahimi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Barking's corner Yazid El Ibrahimi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodil Lacen quite easily take care of the ball.

The audience was convinced that Bouabdellah Saâdallah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodil Lacen was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After 66 minutes, Zinedine Zerouali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huntingdon and the Barking players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fodil Lacen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rezki Boufroura in the 79th minute of play. If Rezki Boufroura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th play minute Elias Harkati came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marwan Messai. 2-2. Ahmed Fanon's late challenge caught a Barking's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmed Fanon helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Barking booed when Huntingdon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Fanon didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 98 in the game by Elias Harkati from a close distance when the talented Marwan Messai managed to make a qualified save. Barking's players were relieved. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
