After 7 played minutes Pensby got a freekick which was hit by Anouar Ouatah. In the 8th minute, Abderrahim Bachtarzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ifthen Tétah was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Bekathen Dahmane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ifthen Tétah having to interfere. Khalida Benyoucef sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abbes Belkacem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Yahia Khaled tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Bekathen Dahmane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Khalida Benyoucef in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ifthen Tétah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abbes Belkacem might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yahia Khaled. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abbes Belkacem ran back to his position shaking his head. Khalida Benyoucef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ifthen Tétah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pensby getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sid Ahmed Mokdad hit a great ball. Abbes Belkacems short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Yahia Khaled to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Pensby defense, Bekathen Dahmane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ifthen Tétah. The Pensby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ifthen Tétah should have stopped the shot. Abbes Belkacem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yahia Khaled having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ifthen Tétah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalida Benyoucef, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Khalida Benyoucef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sandbach AFC booed when Pensby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sid Ahmed Mokdad didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sandbach AFC's Khalida Benyoucef in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pensby's goalie prevented a goal.
