Rabah Khaled showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Assim Lammari in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Assim Lammari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rabah Khaled saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Chorley City fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Chorley City's Sofyane Riyah looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 42nd match minute, North Petherton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudjemaa Achiou to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, North Petherton FC's Aydril Otman got control of the ball when Samy Boutabout tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Sofiane Baali could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Rabah Khaled made a huge save. Djamel Oulhaci hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Sofiane Baali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rabah Khaled made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sofiane Baali in the 59th minute. Rabah Khaled was a little too slow when Assim Lammari got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-1. Aydril Otman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samy Boutabout in the 67th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Abderrachid Amirouche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Petherton FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chorley City the free kick. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind North Petherton FC's goalkeeper Aydril Otman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samy Boutabout in the 80th minute of play forced North Petherton FC's goalkeeper Aydril Otman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Sofiane Baali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dassi Kouri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rabah Khaled having to interfere. Sofiane Baali who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Rabah Khaled when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Chorley City's Sofyane Riyah got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute of the match North Petherton FC got a corner. Chorley City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Slimane Kadri ran over to the corner to take the kick. Slimane Kadri made a great header on North Petherton FC's corner, it was just that Chorley City's Rabah Khaled managed to reach the ball for a save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
