Badis Benhamou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hardwick City. Younes Zemmouri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Mokhtar Liegeon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Badda Rzighi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute of the match Nacer Khendu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Badis Benhamou showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Badis Benhamou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hacène Menia in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Badda Rzighi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hazel Grove FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Badda Rzighi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mokhtar Liegeon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Younes Zemmouri fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Mokhtar Liegeon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Badda Rzighi in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Hardwick City's Younes Bachtarzi got a free kick in the 29th minute. Younes Zemmouri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mokhtar Liegeon came out and tried to block the shot, but Younes Zemmouri slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. Hacène Menia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Lamine Zaghidour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Badis Benhamou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Younes Zemmouri to strike the kick off in the second half. Badis Benhamou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamine Zaghidour, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Younes Zemmouri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hazel Grove FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Younes Zemmouri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Imad Achoui hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Younes Zemmouri in the 59th minute of play forced Hardwick City's goalkeeper Mokhtar Liegeon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Hardwick City's goal looked a bit too open when Badda Rzighi came free, but Mokhtar Liegeon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bakezda Kerrache charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bakezda Kerrache the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hardwick City's Bakezda Kerrache got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hazel Grove FC's zone, Hacène Menia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Badis Benhamou came out of the goal and Hacène Menia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Hazel Grove FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lamine Zaghidour came free, but Badis Benhamou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Badis Benhamou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamine Zaghidour, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. A collision led to Hazel Grove FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Abou Bakr Ali hit a great ball. Hardwick City's Mokhtar Liegeon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Badda Rzighi in the 87th minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, one of Hardwick City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Hazel Grove FC. Abdelaziz Khabatou stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mokhtar Liegeon. 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hazel Grove FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hardwick City had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
