Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abdelhakim Larbi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Abdelhakim Larbi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Anas El Hadi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toufik Mekhloufi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anas El Hadi having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Welwyn Garden City United got a freekick which was hit by Zaïm Ziani. The long shot by Akziz Chaib in the 10th minute really tested Anas El Hadi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Bredon's goal looked a bit too open when Camil Saadane came free, but Azzedine Horr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Hachemi Harkat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Azzedine Horr. Bredon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hachemi Harkat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Camil Saadane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelhakim Larbi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Anas El Hadi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bredon's Akziz Chaib got a free kick in the 30th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Welwyn Garden City United's Camil Saadane sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Azzedine Horr narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Hachemi Harkat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Welwyn Garden City United's Anas El Hadi got control of the ball when Toufik Mekhloufi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Toufik Mekhloufi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the game, Bredon's Toufik Mekhloufi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anas El Hadi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hachemi Harkat to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Aras Mezair was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bredon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Welwyn Garden City United the free kick. Abdelhakim Larbi struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Anas El Hadi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bredon. Toufik Mekhloufi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anas El Hadi having to interfere. Hachemi Harkat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azzedine Horr having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelhakim Larbi in the 72nd minute of play forced Welwyn Garden City United's goalkeeper Anas El Hadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azzedine Horr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hachemi Harkat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Abderazak Chaib fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Welwyn Garden City United's protests and gave Abderazak Chaib a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Abderazak Chaib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdelhakim Larbi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Toufik Mekhloufi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anas El Hadi. Welwyn Garden City United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toufik Mekhloufi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Bredon's Azzedine Horr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hachemi Harkat in the 91st minute of play. Azzedine Horr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hachemi Harkat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
