Tahar Thabet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ghiles Cixous in the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ghiles Cixous in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tahar Thabet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mohand Daham lost his temper 21 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Spitalfields and Shoreditch AFC! When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Fordham AFC's Abdelaziz Dali Bey got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Amdegh Camus. In the 26th minute Ghiles Cixous shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tahar Thabet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dari Chedda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Amdegh Camus made a huge save. After 31 minutes, Akwli Medjiba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fordham AFC and the Spitalfields and Shoreditch AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Spitalfields and Shoreditch AFC booed when Fordham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akwli Medjiba didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Spitalfields and Shoreditch AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Hamza Metaref hit a great ball. If Dari Chedda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Spitalfields and Shoreditch AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hamza Metaref. Amdegh Camus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bellemou Ziani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bellemou Ziani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

A hard shot 51 in the game by Ghiles Cixous from a close distance when the talented Tahar Thabet managed to make a qualified save. Fordham AFC's players were relieved. Amdegh Camus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dari Chedda in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Spitalfields and Shoreditch AFC's Ghiles Cixous sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tahar Thabet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ghiles Cixous blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tahar Thabet having to make a save. Hamza Metaref sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 66 minutes into the match, Spitalfields and Shoreditch AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bellemou Ziani came free, but Amdegh Camus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Spitalfields and Shoreditch AFC's Ghiles Cixous slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tahar Thabet. That made the score 1-2 after 68 minutes of play. Spitalfields and Shoreditch AFC's Amdegh Camus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bellemou Ziani in the 72nd minute of play. Ghiles Cixouss short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Tahar Thabet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Younes Haddou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ghiles Cixous managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spitalfields and Shoreditch AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ghiles Cixous was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tahar Thabet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dari Chedda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Amdegh Camus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ghiles Cixous in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tahar Thabet, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fordham AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Spitalfields and Shoreditch AFC had controlled the match.
