Kader Mezghich hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. A collision led to Trowell City getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Abbes Djaout hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Trowell City's zone, Akwli Medjiba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Said Dridi came out of the goal and Akwli Medjiba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dari Chedda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Said Dridi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bellemou Ziani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tahar Thabet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abbes Djaout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Fordham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Habib Saci came free, but Tahar Thabet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Fordham AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akwli Medjiba to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Fordham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abbes Djaout came free, but Tahar Thabet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abbes Djaout was the one to do the kick off. Habib Saci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahar Thabet having to interfere. Said Dridi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bellemou Ziani's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Dari Chedda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Said Dridi having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Dari Chedda made a precise shot to the right of Said Dridi. Trowell City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Madhi Halouadji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tahar Thabet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abbes Djaout in the 71st minute of play. Abbes Djaout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. After 75 played minutes Trowell City got a freekick which was hit by Kader Mezghich. 76 minutes into the match, Fordham AFC's Abdelaziz Dali Bey broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tahar Thabet was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Abbes Djaout capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abbes Djaout really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 81st minute, Madhi Halouadji hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85th play minutes Dari Chedda shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Said Dridi and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fordham AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Trowell City had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
