Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Afdal Raïs started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ramzy Diafat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afdal Raïs in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 11th minute Elias Liegeon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Said Sahraoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Afdal Raïs came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Rugeley United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afdal Raïs couldn't finish the play. Said Sahraoui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ghani Mérah-Benida in the 17th minute. Elias Liegeon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Said Sahraoui came out and tried to block the shot, but Elias Liegeon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. Afdal Raïs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nasser Morceli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Rugeley United's Afdal Raïs fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Ramzy Diafat was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Elias Liegeon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Said Sahraoui having to interfere. After 34 played minutes, Pensby City's Abdelmadjid Zughba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Said Sahraoui came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pensby City reached it. When Nasser Morceli came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Rugeley United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nasser Morceli couldn't finish the play. Lakhdar Adjimi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pensby City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Rugeley United a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Faouzi Ben Bella, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pensby City's Ramzy Diafat. 1-1. In the 46th minute, Mohamed Cavalli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Rugeley United's Nasser Morceli got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pensby City's Adam Mihoubi got a free kick in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nasser Morceli got free with Ramzy Diafat in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. From close distance Nasser Morceli pressed in the 1-2 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 57 minutes into the game. If Ghani Mérah-Benida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nasser Morceli got free with Ramzy Diafat in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Afdal Raïs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramzy Diafat having to make a save. Ramzy Diafat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nasser Morceli in the 70th minute. Said Sahraoui came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Pensby City's Ghani Mérah-Benida. But to his dismay, Ghani Mérah-Benida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Afdal Raïs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramzy Diafat having to interfere. Ghani Mérah-Benida might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Said Sahraoui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ghani Mérah-Benida ran back to his position shaking his head. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
