Mounaim Bedroni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilyes Kerfali having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mounaim Bedroni in the 25th minute of play forced Radcliffe City's goalkeeper Ilyes Kerfali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Farnworth's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Chahid Saïd fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 36 minutes into the match, Farnworth's goalkeeper Ales Ulansi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chahid Saïd. When Mouley Bencheikh fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Radcliffe City's protests and gave Mouley Bencheikh a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Radcliffe City's Mouley Bencheikh got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Mounaim Bedroni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilyes Kerfali having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Haider Benchenaa made the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Houd Arav in the 52nd minute really tested Ilyes Kerfali's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ilyes Kerfali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdelmadjid Kherroum in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mounaim Bedroni in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilyes Kerfali saved Radcliffe City from getting behind. Mounaim Bedroni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ilyes Kerfali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Mounaim Bedroni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Farnworth's supporters rose to their feet, but Mounaim Bedroni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilyes Kerfali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Abdelmadjid Kherroum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Farnworth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 78th minute, Ismet Daouadji hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haider Benchenaa in the 82nd minute of play forced Farnworth's goalkeeper Ales Ulansi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Chahid Saïd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Radcliffe City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chahid Saïd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Farnworth's Ales Ulansi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haider Benchenaa in the 85th minute of play. Chahid Saïd took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ales Ulansi. Ales Ulansi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
