Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sanaa Bencheikh started the match with the kick off. Sofyane El Kounya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rabah Djeziri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Salisbury booed when York AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madhil Meskouri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sanaa Bencheikh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sofyane El Kounya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rabah Djeziri in the 15th minute of play. Omar Brahami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sofyane El Kounya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sofyane El Kounya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rabah Djeziri, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Sofyane El Kounya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rabah Djeziri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. York AFC's Mahfoud Akvayli got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Younes Bensaoula came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by York AFC's Mahfoud Akvayli. But to his dismay, Mahfoud Akvayli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 35th minute, Djafar Louahla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. York AFC's Rabia Kazi-Tani couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Salisbury. Salisbury's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Sanaa Bencheikh scored to the left of an out of position Younes Bensaoula, making the score, 2-0. In the 43rdth minute of the game Assad Oudin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but York AFC's Sofyane El Kounya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sanaa Bencheikh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Younes Bensaoula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rabah Djeziri made a kick off. Mahfoud Akvayli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Younes Bensaoula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sanaa Bencheikh, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, York AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Omar Brahami fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. York AFC's Sofyane El Kounya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save York AFC from getting a goal against them. When Rabah Djeziri came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Salisbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rabah Djeziri couldn't finish the play. If Mahfoud Akvayli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Omar Brahami had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sofyane El Kounya. York AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Brahami was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Younes Bensaoula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahfoud Akvayli in the 75th minute of play. Rabia Kazi-Tani took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Younes Bensaoula. Salisbury's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Djafar Louahla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes, York AFC's Rabia Kazi-Tani shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Younes Bensaoula came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in York AFC reached it. Rabah Djeziri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sofyane El Kounya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The York AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Salisbury had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
