Samir Boukirat hit a great ball. York AFC's Sofyane El Kounya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nordine Medjiba in the 16th minute of play. Sanaa Bencheikh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bendjedid Souibes having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lunis Hamani to make the kick off. The Hastings players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
