After having played for 3 minutes, Zahi Djahnine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harringay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zahi Djahnine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 4 minutes into the match, Shanklin United's goal looked a bit too open when Redouane Metref came free, but Aydril Mazouni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Zahi Djahnine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Harringay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rayan Larbes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fayçal Arav showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 9 minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Shanklin United's Kader Larbes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rayan Larbes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 17th match minute, Shanklin United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raouf Yenicheri to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Harringay's goalkeeper Rayan Larbes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kader Larbes. After some careless play in the Shanklin United defense, Redouane Metref kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aydril Mazouni. The Shanklin United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aydril Mazouni should have stopped the shot. Redouane Metref fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aydril Mazouni having to interfere. Rayan Larbes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fayçal Arav's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Zahi Djahnine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aydril Mazouni having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Redouane Metref to strike the kick off in the second half. Fayçal Arav struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Rayan Larbes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shanklin United. After 56 minutes of play, Harringay's Zahi Djahnine made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aydril Mazouni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kader Larbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rayan Larbes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Harringay getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Adil Ghoumari hit a great ball. Harringay's Rayan Larbes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kader Larbes in the 67th minute of play. Adil Ghoumari kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Fayçal Arav scored 3-3 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rayan Larbes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Zahi Djahnine got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Zahi Djahnine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Aydril Mazouni made a huge save. 77 minutes into the game, Mebarek Nasri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shanklin United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harringay the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Shanklin United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Harringay:s goal. When the match had been going on for 79 minutes, Harringay's Yassine Khelfellah got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aydril Mazouni. Harringay's Zahi Djahnine got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Redouane Metref kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aydril Mazouni. That made the score 3-5 in the 86 minute of play. In the 91st minute Redouane Metref shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aydril Mazouni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kader Larbes took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rayan Larbes. Rayan Larbes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-5. Harringay's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
