Affi Mammeri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Islem Bourebbou in the 43rd minute of play. Aziz Bahari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hikmet Fanon having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hafid Fergani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Abdelhani Rzighi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Abdelhani Rzighi took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Affi Mammeri to make any attempt to save it. Tottington's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Abdelhani Rzighi scored to the left of an out of position Affi Mammeri, making the score, 1-2. After having played for 75 minutes, Ismaïl Meriem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Midhurst's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismaïl Meriem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tottington's Affi Mammeri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Tottington from getting a goal against them. Midhurst were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Tottington's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bassi Assous took the corner. In the 81st minute, Ismaïl Meriem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdelhani Rzighi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Affi Mammeri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismaïl Meriem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Affi Mammeri made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Midhurst's Affi Mammeri threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abdelhani Rzighi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Abdelhani Rzighi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Affi Mammeri having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Midhurst eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
