If Khalil Belhocine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Reigate United's goalkeeper Abdelkarim Iles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lyazzide Zahouania. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rachid Khabatou in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giss Baltadji prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Salim Messis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lyazzide Zahouania blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdelkarim Iles having to make a save. In the 19th minute, Salim Messis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Khabatou in the 22nd minute of play forced Shrewsbury's goalkeeper Giss Baltadji to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Redouane Hamrouche kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes, Reigate United's Boussad Arif shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Giss Baltadji came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Reigate United reached it. In the 29th minute, Hicham Zenia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Reigate United's Boussad Arif got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 38 minutes into the match, Samir Zafour dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abdelkarim Iles, 2-0. In the 41st minute Rachid Khabatou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giss Baltadji saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samir Zafour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelkarim Iles having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Shrewsbury's Samir Zafour sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdelkarim Iles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lyazzide Zahouania's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Abdelkarim Iles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

51 minutes into the match, Samir Zafour notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Reigate United's Abdelkarim Iles. Abdelkarim Iles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salim Messis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giss Baltadji having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Shrewsbury's goalkeeper Giss Baltadji had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rachid Khabatou. After 60 minutes of play, Shrewsbury's Samir Zafour made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdelkarim Iles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abdellah Belhocine kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Shrewsbury's zone, Rachid Khabatou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giss Baltadji came out of the goal and Rachid Khabatou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Shrewsbury's goal looked a bit too open when Salim Messis came free, but Giss Baltadji reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Rachid Khabatou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reigate United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rachid Khabatou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Reigate United! Adid Zeghbouche placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Lyazzide Zahouania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shrewsbury's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
