Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Idras Nima made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdellatif Zahouania in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toufik Ghoumari saved East Cowes from getting behind. When Kaci Hamrouche came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Pickering fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaci Hamrouche couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Pickering booed when East Cowes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rabah Madouni didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kaci Hamrouche came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Pickering fans jumped to their feet. Seddik Bouzid, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Toufik Ghoumari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaci Hamrouche, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, East Cowes's goal looked a bit too open when Kaci Hamrouche came free, but Toufik Ghoumari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Abdellatif Zahouania's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toufik Ghoumari was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Toufik Ghoumari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdeldjalil Cherfa in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, East Cowes's Rabah Madouni got a free kick in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Kaci Hamrouche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pickering's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaci Hamrouche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toufik Ghoumari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Toufik Ghoumari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdellatif Zahouania in the 34th minute of play. Pickering's Oualid El Kettani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Pickering from getting a goal against them. Pickering's Oualid El Kettani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idras Nima in the 39th minute of play. Toufik Ghoumari came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pickering's Abdellatif Zahouania. But to his dismay, Abdellatif Zahouania quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdellatif Zahouania was the one to do the kick off. Abdellatif Dahleb charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdellatif Dahleb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abdellatif Dahleb hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Idras Nima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Giss Tellidji shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oualid El Kettani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdellatif Zahouania received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Toufik Ghoumari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Pickering's Kaci Hamrouche ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Toufik Ghoumari. Toufik Ghoumari yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Abdellatif Zahouania might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toufik Ghoumari. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdellatif Zahouania ran back to his position shaking his head. 71 minutes into the match, Pickering's goal looked a bit too open when Idras Nima came free, but Oualid El Kettani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Idras Nima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oualid El Kettani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Idras Nima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Oualid El Kettani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Giss Tellidji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, East Cowes's Idras Nima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oualid El Kettani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Pickering's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
