Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Matlock's Ghanim Hamdani started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Nabil Taâllah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Abdelkader Foughali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Taïeb Boukhari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matlock's supporters rose to their feet, but Taïeb Boukhari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdallah Taâllah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th match minute, Fulbourn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdel Mammeri to maneuver through the defense. Ghanim Hamdani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdallah Taâllah having to interfere. Ammuch Djeziri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelkader Foughali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ammuch Djeziri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nabil Taâllah in the 19th minute. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matlock's goalkeeper Ammuch Djeziri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ghanim Hamdani in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdallah Taâllah saved Fulbourn AFC from getting behind. Ammuch Djeziri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelkader Foughali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdelkader Foughali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ammuch Djeziri having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Fulbourn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ghanim Hamdani came free, but Abdallah Taâllah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fulbourn AFC's zone, Taïeb Boukhari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdallah Taâllah came out of the goal and Taïeb Boukhari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 minutes, Chawki Guerroum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fulbourn AFC and the Matlock players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fulbourn AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Chawki Guerroum hit a great ball. 47 minutes in the game, Ghanim Hamdani dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 52 minutes, Nabil Taâllah made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Matlock's Ammuch Djeziri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nabil Taâllah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matlock's Ghanim Hamdani got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ammuch Djeziri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelkader Foughali, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Taïeb Boukhari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Abdallah Taâllah made a huge save. Ammuch Djeziri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelkader Foughali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nabil Taâllah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 minutes of play Fulbourn AFC's Chawki Guerroum was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Taïeb Boukhari got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Muhammad Zidane came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Fulbourn AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muhammad Zidane couldn't finish the play. Abdallah Taâllah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Taïeb Boukhari in the 97th minute. Fulbourn AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
