If Dari Matmour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Ashwell FC's Zahid Hamid Brahima ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rafik Mekloufi. Rafik Mekloufi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 35th minute, Ikhlas Belmellat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yacine Zaaboub was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Yacine Zaaboub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ketta Boutabout in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Mouloud Ghennouchi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ashwell FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ince the free kick. In the 41st minute, Mouloud Ghennouchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Abdelfattah Boutabout sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ashwell FC's Yacine Zaaboub didn't even have to move.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zahid Hamid Brahima to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Mohan El Hadi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 61st play minutes Ikhlas Belmellat shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Yacine Zaaboub and just under the crossbar into goal. Raouf Chebal hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Dari Matmour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ince's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dari Matmour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mohan El Hadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mohan El Hadi in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafik Mekloufi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Zahid Hamid Brahima put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rafik Mekloufi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dari Matmour got free with Yacine Zaaboub in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafik Mekloufi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zahid Hamid Brahima in the 92nd minute of play. When Mohan El Hadi came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ashwell FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohan El Hadi couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the game, Ashwell FC's Zahid Hamid Brahima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafik Mekloufi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Ashwell FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
