The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ayoub Boutella struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Wells AFC's Haroun Mekhloufi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayoub Boutella in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute Ayoub Boutella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroun Mekhloufi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahnini Boufroura in the 24th minute of play forced Wells AFC's goalkeeper Haroun Mekhloufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Bahnini Boufroura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroun Mekhloufi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khaled Ahmed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moïse Ouennadi having to interfere. Adel Mhenni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moïse Ouennadi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Adel Mhenni struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Moïse Ouennadi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wells AFC. Khaled Ahmed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Khaled Ahmed stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Haroun Mekhloufi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahnini Boufroura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arsan Dahar kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Moïse Ouennadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adel Mhenni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Adel Mhenni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wells AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adel Mhenni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moïse Ouennadi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After recieving a nice pass, Wells AFC's Oualid Feraoun tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Adel Mhenni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ayoub Boutella struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Haroun Mekhloufi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Great Baddow. 75 minutes into the game, Nadji Amraoui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wells AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Great Baddow the free kick. After a rather tough play, Wells AFC's Nadji Amraoui got a free kick in the 75th minute. Wells AFC's Haroun Mekhloufi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahnini Boufroura in the 77th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Great Baddow's Bahnini Boufroura in the 83rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Haroun Mekhloufi was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Wells AFC through an amazing save. The supporters of Great Baddow booed when Wells AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsan Dahar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bahnini Boufroura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moïse Ouennadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adel Mhenni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Mehdi Aliche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moïse Ouennadi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khaled Ahmed in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wells AFC had won after a very even match.
