Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ismet Djeziri took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 5 played minutes Cottingham FC got a freekick which was hit by Boumedienne Belhadj. Abdelmalik Al-Jazairia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ishak Ezzouaoui having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, North Petherton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismet Djeziri came free, but Abdechahid Hamdani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismet Djeziri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdechahid Hamdani having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, North Petherton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismet Djeziri came free, but Abdechahid Hamdani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdelmalik Al-Jazairia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ishak Ezzouaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When North Petherton FC's Abderrahmane Beaufort in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cottingham FC's goalie prevented a goal. Bahnini Messayeb charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bahnini Messayeb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 28 minutes, Abdelmalik Al-Jazairia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Petherton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelmalik Al-Jazairia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Afalawas Larfaoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Djamel Bouraada took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ishak Ezzouaoui. Cottingham FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Boumedienne Belhadj's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdechahid Hamdani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Cottingham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abderrahmane Beaufort came free, but Ishak Ezzouaoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Abderrahmane Beaufort managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Petherton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abderrahmane Beaufort was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdelmalik Al-Jazairia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abderrahmane Beaufort's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ishak Ezzouaoui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abderrahmane Beaufort stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cottingham FC's Boumedienne Belhadj got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Abderrahmane Beaufort got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 73 minutes into the game, Ismet Djeziri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Abdechahid Hamdani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd match minute, North Petherton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djamel Bouraada to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Cottingham FC's Bahnini Messayeb broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boumedienne Belhadj in the 84th minute of play forced North Petherton FC's goalkeeper Abdechahid Hamdani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismet Djeziri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boumedienne Belhadj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to North Petherton FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Chaba Mezair hit a great ball. Ishak Ezzouaoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abderrahmane Beaufort in the 92nd minute of play. When Ismet Djeziri came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Cottingham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismet Djeziri couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the North Petherton FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cottingham FC.
