Abdellah Makkeb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismet Djeziri in the 3rd minute of the match. When Abdelghafour Zidane came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Borehamwood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdelghafour Zidane couldn't finish the play. Borehamwood's Halim Drioueche got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Borehamwood's Abdellah Makkeb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boumedienne Belhadj in the 10th minute of play. Abdelghafour Zidane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdelghafour Zidane struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ishak Ezzouaoui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borehamwood. After having played for 16 minutes, Ismet Djeziri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cottingham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismet Djeziri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdellah Makkeb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismet Djeziri, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Abdelghafour Zidane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ishak Ezzouaoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Ismet Djeziri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Abdellah Makkeb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Halim Drioueche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ishak Ezzouaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Borehamwood got a freekick which was hit by Habib Djebar. The Cottingham FC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Cottingham FC's Boumedienne Belhadj looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 39 minutes into the match, Cottingham FC's goalkeeper Ishak Ezzouaoui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Halim Drioueche. In the 42nd minute, Boumedienne Belhadj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abdelghafour Zidane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Borehamwood booed when Cottingham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baligh Makhloufi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Ishak Ezzouaoui successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdelghafour Zidane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Ismet Djeziri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cottingham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismet Djeziri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boumedienne Belhadj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismet Djeziri in the 67th minute of play forced Borehamwood's goalkeeper Abdellah Makkeb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Abdelghafour Zidane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ishak Ezzouaoui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdelghafour Zidane's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Boumedienne Belhadj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cottingham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boumedienne Belhadj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ishak Ezzouaoui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Halim Drioueche's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Halim Drioueche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borehamwood's supporters rose to their feet, but Halim Drioueche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ishak Ezzouaoui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abdellah Makkeb made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Boumedienne Belhadj sent off a good shot on target. Nacer-Eddine Touati hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Abdelghafour Zidane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borehamwood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelghafour Zidane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Halim Drioueche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boumedienne Belhadj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Borehamwood's Abdellah Makkeb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Borehamwood from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halim Drioueche in the 95th minute of play forced Cottingham FC's goalkeeper Ishak Ezzouaoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Borehamwood supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cottingham FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cottingham FC.
