Abdelnasser Hamyane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilian Kazi-Tani hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The Alderley Edge City fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Alderley Edge City's Hatim Reda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Boubakeur Bey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Menad Bey in the 31st minute of the match. Boubakeur Bey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelnasser Hamyane, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Alderley Edge City's Fouhad Guechtouli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fawzi Ben Khalidi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boubakeur Bey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelnasser Hamyane, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Menad Bey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Houghton le Spring City's supporters rose to their feet, but Menad Bey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boubakeur Bey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Fouhad Guechtouli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fawzi Ben Khalidi was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Fouhad Guechtouli had several of the Houghton le Spring City's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 92 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Fawzi Ben Khalidi as he didn't even see the shot coming. Abdelnasser Hamyane struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Boubakeur Bey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Houghton le Spring City.
