After 21 minutes of play Southall FC's Mustapha Benhamou was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Mustapha Benhamou kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Anas Belhouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Abdel Bourebbou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Newcastle-under-Lyme FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sofyane Mazouna to maneuver through the defense. Reda Belkacem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amar Rebbab having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Newcastle-under-Lyme FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustapha Sermadji to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdel Bourebbou showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Southall FC's Abdel Bourebbou got control of the ball when Samir Meriem tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ismet Soumati lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 55 minutes into the game, one of Southall FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 57 minutes, Newcastle-under-Lyme FC's Mekki Sahnouni got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Abdel Bourebbou. Anas Belhouche struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Abdel Bourebbou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle-under-Lyme FC. After 62 minutes of play, Newcastle-under-Lyme FC's Samir Meriem made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdel Bourebbou was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th match minute, Southall FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamza Saâdane to maneuver through the defense. Anas Belhouche blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdel Bourebbou having to make a save.
