It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tami Hamid Brahima kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Tami Hamid Brahima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sudbury fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sofiane Sandjak in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hachem Harkati prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Sudbury booed when Skegby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bilal Ouadah didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Sofiane Sandjak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skegby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sofiane Sandjak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hachem Harkati was a little too slow when Sofiane Sandjak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-1. Sofiane Sandjak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sofiane Sandjak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tami Hamid Brahima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tami Hamid Brahima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zaïm Barbarossa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Sofiane Sandjak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hachem Harkati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sudbury getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Lamine Djaadaoui hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes, Skegby's Nouredine Morceli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hachem Harkati came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Skegby reached it. 33 minutes into the match, Sudbury's Hafs Trari sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zaïm Barbarossa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, Fodil Tobbal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skegby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sudbury the free kick. After 35 played minutes Skegby got a freekick which was hit by Fodil Tobbal. 36 minutes in the game, Tami Hamid Brahima dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The Skegby fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Skegby's Sofiane Sandjak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Sudbury's Hafs Trari got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bilal Khendu in the 59th minute of play forced Sudbury's goalkeeper Hachem Harkati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zaïm Barbarossa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fouad Benida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tami Hamid Brahima in the 63rd minute of play forced Skegby's goalkeeper Zaïm Barbarossa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Hafs Trari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sudbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Hafs Trari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zaïm Barbarossa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th match minute, Sudbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkam Belbey to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute of the match Boubaker Bahmane sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hachem Harkati skillfully saved the ball. Zaïm Barbarossa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hafs Trari in the 83rd minute. After 84 played minutes Skegby got a freekick which was hit by Nouredine Morceli. Zaïm Barbarossa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tami Hamid Brahima in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Hafs Trari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sudbury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hafs Trari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bassim Zaâmoucha lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Skegby:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sudbury:s goal. The goalkeeper, Zaïm Barbarossa, was totally fooled by Sudbury's Aziz Hammou, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Skegby fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sudbury had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
