In the 4th minute, Kateb Slaïmi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anis Maghili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belkacem Bessou in the 6th minute of the match. Imad Kermali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hakim Meskine might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Belgacem Aïn Madhi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hakim Meskine ran back to his position shaking his head. Hocine Saadane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hakim Meskine struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Belgacem Aïn Madhi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hurdcott. After 25 played minutes West Bromwich FC got a freekick which was hit by Fodil Sahraoui. After 28 minutes West Bromwich FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boualem Kacha who took care of the corner kick. Fodil Sahraoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Anis Maghili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anis Maghili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belkacem Bessou in the 31st minute of play. Abdelmalik Foughali's late challenge caught a West Bromwich FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdelmalik Foughali helped the player get up and apologised. Fathi Asma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute of the match Hurdcott got a corner. West Bromwich FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Boualem Kacha ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Boualem Kacha almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but West Bromwich FC's Belgacem Aïn Madhi did a great save. 42 minutes into the match, Hurdcott's goal looked a bit too open when Belkacem Bessou came free, but Anis Maghili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belkacem Bessou in the 44th minute of play forced Hurdcott's goalkeeper Anis Maghili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Younes Saâdi fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Bromwich FC's protests and gave Younes Saâdi a yellow card for diving instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Belkacem Bessou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hocine Saadane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belkacem Bessou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anis Maghili having to interfere. Anis Maghili made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Imad Kermali sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelmalik Foughali in the 76th minute of play forced West Bromwich FC's goalkeeper Belgacem Aïn Madhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Imad Kermali could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Anis Maghili made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as West Bromwich FC's Belkacem Bessou slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anis Maghili. That made the score 0-1 after 80 minutes of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Abid Fechtali put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Anis Maghili, was totally fooled by West Bromwich FC's Bellemou Menad, who 88 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. West Bromwich FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
