After 7 played minutes Droylsden got a freekick which was hit by Rayan Menad. Abdallah Djamel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akar Belhouche in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rayan Menad in the 17th minute of play forced High Hesket United's goalkeeper Mostafa Kadri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamid Malek took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mostafa Kadri. Mostafa Kadri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akar Belhouche in the 26th minute of play forced Droylsden's goalkeeper Abdallah Djamel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Rayan Menad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mostafa Kadri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to High Hesket United getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Cheikh Khendu hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Rayan Menad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mostafa Kadri was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. If Akar Benbrahim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rayan Menad came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Droylsden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rayan Menad couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Hamid Malek got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 43rd minute, Droylsden's Rayan Menad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mostafa Kadri. Mostafa Kadri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Hamid Malek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Droylsden's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamid Malek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mostafa Kadri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Mostafa Kadri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rayan Menad, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Akar Benbrahim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdallah Djamel having to interfere. Akar Belhouche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Akar Belhouche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Abdallah Djamel made a huge save. Droylsden's Abdallah Djamel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akar Benbrahim in the 63rd minute of play. Marwan Fnardji hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. High Hesket United's Mostafa Kadri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rayan Menad in the 71st minute of play. Cheikh Khendu hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Hamid Malek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mostafa Kadri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rayan Menad, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
