The audience was convinced that Sami Kraïche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Billel Aïn Madhi was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bayna Zenati to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Trimley's Zahid Kensi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 67th minute, Afaghis Makkeb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Sabri Benhamou fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trimley's protests and gave Sabri Benhamou a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Trimley getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Sabri Benhamou hit a great ball. Trimley's Billel Aïn Madhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Kraïche in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Sami Kraïche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trowell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sami Kraïche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Trimley's zone, Afaghis Makkeb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Billel Aïn Madhi came out of the goal and Afaghis Makkeb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdelghani Bouazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayna Zenati in the 88th minute of play. Bayna Zenati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute Bayna Zenati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelghani Bouazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
