After 14 minutes Swindon FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sabri Larbes who took care of the corner kick. Noureddine Debbagh kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Swindon FC's Abdeldjalil Izghen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Khalil El Annabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelmadjid Firoud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avebury FC's Hadi Hamrouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheikh Allalou in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Avebury FC got a freekick which was hit by Sabri Larbes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Younes Boulebda got free with Hadi Hamrouche in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Messaoud Fanon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Khalil El Annabi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Swindon FC got a freekick which was hit by Tayeb Benmabrouk. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Messaoud Fanon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avebury FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Messaoud Fanon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khalil El Annabi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cheikh Allalou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cheikh Allalou made a kick off. Younes Boulebda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tayeb Benmabrouk kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheikh Allalou in the 70th minute of play forced Avebury FC's goalkeeper Hadi Hamrouche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes Swindon FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sabri Larbes who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Sabri Larbes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Khalil El Annabi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Swindon FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
