The tension between the Avebury FC and the Aveley players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Aveley's zone, Abdelmadjid Firoud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nasserredine Larbi came out of the goal and Abdelmadjid Firoud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Messaoud Fanon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avebury FC's Hadi Hamrouche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Avebury FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdelmadjid Messis got free with Hadi Hamrouche in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdelmadjid Firoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nasserredine Larbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Messaoud Fanon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nasserredine Larbi was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Aveley's Aylan Fochtali got a free kick in the 34th minute. Nasserredine Larbi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Messaoud Fanon in the 35th minute of the match. Amhaws Aflelou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abdelmadjid Firoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Messaoud Fanon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the match, Avebury FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amhaws Aflelou came free, but Hadi Hamrouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Raouf Messaoudi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aveley's Amhaws Aflelou got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nasserredine Larbi was a little too slow when Noureddine Debbagh got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-1. After a rather tough play, Aveley's Amine Belhocine got a free kick in the 61st minute. The long shot by Sabri Larbes in the 62nd minute really tested Nasserredine Larbi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Messaoud Fanon in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nasserredine Larbi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abdelmadjid Firoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Abdelmadjid Messis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hadi Hamrouche. Avebury FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdelmadjid Messis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Avebury FC's zone, Amhaws Aflelou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After having played for 89 minutes, Amhaws Aflelou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aveley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amhaws Aflelou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amhaws Aflelou in the 92nd minute of play forced Avebury FC's goalkeeper Hadi Hamrouche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
