Sheffield United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wootton Bassett AFC the free kick. After 32 played minutes Sheffield United got a freekick which was hit by Otman Abrika. Ramzy Zaaboub hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, Kamel Ghoumari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Brahim Lamine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mabrouk Kaci Said sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes Wootton Bassett AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ramzy Zaaboub. In the 48th minute Mabrouk Kaci Said shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brahim Lamine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After a defensive mix-up in Wootton Bassett AFC's zone, Mabrouk Kaci Said stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brahim Lamine came out of the goal and Mabrouk Kaci Said tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mabrouk Kaci Said took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brahim Lamine. Brahim Lamine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 79 minutes into the match, Kamel Ghoumari notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Wootton Bassett AFC's Brahim Lamine. Brahim Lamine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, Wootton Bassett AFC's Hakim Boulebda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Seddik Zaoui. Seddik Zaoui yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Abdelaziz Matmour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wootton Bassett AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelaziz Matmour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Otman Abrika was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. Otman Abrika kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Hakim Boulebda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wootton Bassett AFC's Hakim Boulebda got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Abdelaziz Matmour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sheffield United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
