Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lakhdar Bruel took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Camil Benchenaa fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lowton's protests and gave Camil Benchenaa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Lowton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camil Benchenaa to maneuver through the defense. Aziz Ataïlyya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lounes Fochtali having to interfere. In the 9th minute Aziz Ataïlyya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lounes Fochtali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lakhdar Bruel struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Lounes Fochtali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huddersfield City. In the 11th match minute, Lowton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akim Chebal to maneuver through the defense. Aziz Ataïlyya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Lounes Fochtali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lounes Fochtali came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Huddersfield City's Lakhdar Bruel. But to his dismay, Lakhdar Bruel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aziz Ataïlyya in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lounes Fochtali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 played minutes Huddersfield City got a freekick which was hit by Rabia Oudjani. Redouane Derrida took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Barsa Draï. Huddersfield City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Djamil Zemirli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Barsa Draï tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Lowton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atmane Hamani to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Bechir Ziri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lounes Fochtali skillfully saved the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Aziz Ataïlyya notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Lowton's Lounes Fochtali. Lounes Fochtali was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jussef Halouadji stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Lowton getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ilan Rebbab hit a great ball. Djamil Zemirli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Barsa Draï tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes, Abdelkarim Belmadi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huddersfield City and the Lowton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bechir Ziri hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the match Badis Mazouna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barsa Draï skillfully saved the ball. Barsa Draï took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jussef Halouadji, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Huddersfield City's zone, Djamil Zemirli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barsa Draï came out of the goal and Djamil Zemirli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jussef Halouadji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Djamil Zemirli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aziz Ataïlyya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Atmane Hamani charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atmane Hamani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Huddersfield City booed when Lowton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atmane Hamani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aziz Ataïlyya succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 92nd playminute. Aziz Ataïlyya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lounes Fochtali having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Huddersfield City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
