But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Ali couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Ismael Khennane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abdelaziz Djeziri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, East Grinstead United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hassan Reda to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in East Grinstead United's zone, Ismael Khennane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Redouane Medhaoui came out of the goal and Ismael Khennane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barnham had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
