The supporters of Purbrook booed when Chippenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rabah Bouziane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chippenham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Othmane Makhloufi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The Abdelkrim Ziani was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Tarik Ghanem's late challenge caught a Chippenham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
