Anouar Belhadj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adza Allalou in the 14th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, St Johns Wood City's Djamel Ayachi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chafik Kermali narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Filey's Chafik Kermali got control of the ball when Djamel Ayachi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute Djamel Ayachi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chafik Kermali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, St Johns Wood City's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Maillot came free, but Anouar Belhadj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samy Djaout to make the kick off. Samy Djaout's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anouar Belhadj read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, St Johns Wood City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilyas Bougherra to maneuver through the defense. Samy Djaout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anouar Belhadj having to interfere. Samy Djaout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Maillot struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Anouar Belhadj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Filey. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Maillot got free with Anouar Belhadj in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute Bani Boulahfane suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of Filey booed when St Johns Wood City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelhakim Bedjaoui didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes, Filey's Souad Berradja shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anouar Belhadj came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Filey reached it. In the 85th minute, Ilyas Bougherra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Filey getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Faouzi Saïd-Guerni hit a great ball. Djamel Ayachi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Maillot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The St Johns Wood City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Filey's performance. The match ended with a win for Filey.
