Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amattaken Mesbah started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Moussa Barbarossa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romaldkirk AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moussa Barbarossa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kacem Bachtobji breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kacem Bachtobji took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kacem Beloufa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amattaken Mesbah might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sahrane Harkat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amattaken Mesbah ran back to his position shaking his head. Amattaken Mesbah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Rye were awarded a corner. Rami Khadra went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Rye's Rami Khadra to fire away a dangerous shot which Sahrane Harkat despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 26th minute, Amattaken Mesbah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kacem Bachtobji made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacem Beloufa in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Romaldkirk AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amattaken Mesbah came free, but Sahrane Harkat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Djillali Drid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kacem Bachtobji having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Kacem Beloufa made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Djillali Drid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romaldkirk AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Djillali Drid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kacem Bachtobji breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kacem Beloufa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. Amattaken Mesbah scored 1-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sahrane Harkat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rye's Aras Madjer got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amattaken Mesbah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Sahrane Harkat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amattaken Mesbah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sahrane Harkat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amattaken Mesbah in the 90th minute of the match. Kacem Bachtobji made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Djillali Drid sent off a good shot on target. Romaldkirk AFC's Sahrane Harkat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amattaken Mesbah in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rye had won after a very even match.
