After 19 played minutes, Great Baddow City's Abdelmalik Ramdani shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abou Bakr Dhahhak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Beddis Boulmerka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Petherton City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beddis Boulmerka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Great Baddow City's Amellal Mammech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Great Baddow City from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the game, Abdallah Skif was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Great Baddow City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Petherton City the free kick. The supporters of North Petherton City booed when Great Baddow City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdallah Skif didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Mansouri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yannis Dhyab in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amellal Mammech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, Beddis Boulmerka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Great Baddow City's zone, Yannis Dhyab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amellal Mammech came out of the goal and Yannis Dhyab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Great Baddow City's Abdallah Skif got a free kick in the 61st minute. 67 minutes in the game, Yannis Dhyab dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Beddis Boulmerka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Amellal Mammech was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Great Baddow City fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Great Baddow City's Bachir Moussaoui looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Yannis Dhyab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, David Mansouri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abou Bakr Dhahhak. The goal made the score 1-2. Amellal Mammech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yannis Dhyab in the 94th minute of play.
