Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Souad Hammou kicked off to start the match. Djillali Djenia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thelma Lagab having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdelmadjid Khaled during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Helsby's Abdelmadjid Khaled got a free kick in the 4th minute. Yahia Morceli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achraf Moumen, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Achraf Moumen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Souad Hammou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yahia Morceli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Wellen Zahouania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Zaaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Souad Hammou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wellen Zahouania in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thelma Lagab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Achraf Moumen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Djillali Djenia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samir Labi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yahia Morceli. Braintree's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Souad Hammou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Souad Hammou in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yahia Morceli saved Braintree from getting behind. Achraf Moumen struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Yahia Morceli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Helsby. Thelma Lagab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellen Zahouania in the 43rd minute of the match. Aflawas Bedroni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yahia Morceli having to interfere. Achraf Moumen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yahia Morceli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wellen Zahouania was the one to do the kick off. Aszar Zidane took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thelma Lagab. Thelma Lagab dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 58th minute, Braintree's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Achraf Moumen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 61 minutes, Achraf Moumen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Helsby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Achraf Moumen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute Souad Hammou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahia Morceli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Souad Hammou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Madhi Allam kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Souad Hammou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yahia Morceli having to make a save. Achraf Moumen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes Helsby got a freekick which was hit by Samir Labi. A well placed Souad Hammou short distance shot in the 92nd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Braintree's Yahia Morceli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Braintree from getting a goal against them. Souad Hammou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yahia Morceli having to interfere. Helsby played a much better game than Braintree and deserved their victory. The Braintree players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
