The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Foulsham. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Sofiane Bencherif managed to get in a good position for a shot. Foulsham's supporters rose to their feet, but Sofiane Bencherif was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chadli Bedroni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Semah Zaghouane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nacer Ben Arfa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamza Djenoui in the 14th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kidlington United! Chadli Bedroni went to the wrong direction when Said Kerbouche was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After some careless play in the Kidlington United defense, Semah Zaghouane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chadli Bedroni. The Kidlington United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chadli Bedroni should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Sofiane Bencherif dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Chadli Bedroni, 2-1. If Sofiane Bencherif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Giss Ulansi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nacer Ben Arfa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamza Djenoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute Amine Debbagh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacer Ben Arfa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Allaoua Sellami fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Foulsham's protests and gave Allaoua Sellami a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Foulsham getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Allaoua Sellami hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After having played for 56 minutes, Amine Debbagh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kidlington United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amine Debbagh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amine Debbagh got free with Nacer Ben Arfa in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chadli Bedroni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semah Zaghouane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75thth minute of the game Hamza Djenoui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Foulsham's Nacer Ben Arfa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nacer Ben Arfa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hamza Djenoui's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Kidlington United's Hamza Djenoui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nacer Ben Arfa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Semah Zaghouane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 3-1 became the score in the 92nd minute when Sofiane Bencherif elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nacer Ben Arfa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamza Djenoui in the 96th minute. Amine Debbagh succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 99th playminute. Kidlington United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
