When Tijani Chebal came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Harefield City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tijani Chebal couldn't finish the play. Bassi Racim charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bassi Racim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Harefield City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! In the 7th minute there was a penalty for JS Kabylie. Akim Brahimi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Djamil Kouri. 0-1. With an all-out effort, Harefield City's Dassi Bedrina threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aghali Assad, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Harefield City's goalkeeper Djamil Kouri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Harefield City's Abdessalem Cerbah got a free kick in the 13th minute. Abdelkrim Zidane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Djamil Kouri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafik Tayebi, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Abdelkrim Zidane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mokdad Matmour hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Harefield City's Djamil Kouri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelkrim Zidane in the 24th minute of play. Rafik Tayebi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Djamil Kouri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rafik Tayebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tijani Chebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dassi Bedrina having to interfere. Tijani Chebal in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dassi Bedrina, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Abdelkrim Zidane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harefield City's Djamil Kouri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelkrim Zidane in the 35th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdelkrim Zidane to strike the kick off in the second half. Tijani Chebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dassi Bedrina having to interfere. Harefield City's Djamil Kouri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelkrim Zidane in the 56th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Harefield City's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelkrim Zidane came free, but Djamil Kouri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Aghali Assad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harefield City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aghali Assad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Abdelmoumen Kahouadji was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JS Kabylie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harefield City the free kick. The supporters of Harefield City booed when JS Kabylie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelmoumen Kahouadji didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Fathi Bedjaoui led 74 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. JS Kabylie's Dassi Bedrina became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-1. Mokdad Matmour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aghali Assad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dassi Bedrina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tijani Chebal in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Abdelkrim Zidane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JS Kabylie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelkrim Zidane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Harefield City fans cheered their team off the field, for while JS Kabylie had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
