Chedli Medjiba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rayane Chadl having to interfere. A long shot from Ismael Meriem in the 42nd minute of play was well struck, but Rayane Chadl made a really good save at the right post. Chedli Medjiba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Rayane Chadl made a huge save. After the first half Al-Itihad Al-Djazaïri were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Billel Damardji to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maamar Fadhil in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Billel Zaâmoucha saved Bermondsey from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Chedli Medjiba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute Billel Damardji shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rayane Chadl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Al-Itihad Al-Djazaïri's goal looked a bit too open when Billel Damardji came free, but Rayane Chadl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khelifa Derrida charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Khelifa Derrida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Al-Itihad Al-Djazaïri getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ramzy Kerkar hit a great ball. Billel Damardji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billel Damardji in the 70th minute of play forced Al-Itihad Al-Djazaïri's goalkeeper Rayane Chadl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rayane Chadl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chedli Medjiba in the 74th minute of play. Chedli Medjiba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Billel Damardji's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rayane Chadl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Billel Damardji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adel Rezkallah was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Al-Itihad Al-Djazaïri's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Maamar Fadhil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billel Zaâmoucha having to interfere. Maamar Fadhil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Al-Itihad Al-Djazaïri had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
