After 7 minutes, Faudel Bachtarzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wymondham City and the Ilford United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wymondham City! An unexpectedly hard shot by Yannis Mohamed in the 10th minute of play forced Wymondham City's goalkeeper Sid Ahmed Embarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Wymondham City's Farid Benyoucef sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Athmane Rahouli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Athmane Rahouli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bilal Bedroni in the 18th minute. Farid Benyoucef sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ilford United's Nacer Timsit got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Farid Benyoucef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Athmane Rahouli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Farid Benyoucef's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Athmane Rahouli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farid Benyoucef, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Mohamed Nasri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Bilal Bedroni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Farid Benyoucef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yannis Mohamed struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Sid Ahmed Embarek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilford United. Farid Benyoucef sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Assad Nekkar to make the kick off. Athmane Rahouli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilal Bedroni in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Bilal Bedroni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Athmane Rahouli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Ilford United's goal looked a bit too open when Bilal Bedroni came free, but Athmane Rahouli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Athmane Rahouli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bilal Bedroni in the 64th minute of the match. Mohamed Nasri charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mohamed Nasri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Ilford United got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Nasri. Sid Ahmed Embarek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yannis Mohamed in the 66th minute. When Assad Nekkar got free in front of the goal in the 70th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Sid Ahmed Embarek was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Mohamed Nasri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bilal Bedroni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Athmane Rahouli having to make a save. 83 minutes into the match, Wymondham City's Farid Benyoucef sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Athmane Rahouli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yannis Mohamed could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Sid Ahmed Embarek made a huge save. In the 92nd minute, Farid Benyoucef ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Athmane Rahouli was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Athmane Rahouli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farid Benyoucef in the 95th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ilford United's Mohamed Nasri got a free kick in the 96th minute. Wymondham City's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
