Bakku Ahmed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Nasser Sahnouni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Verwood FC's Nasser Sahnouni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moïse Sad in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Clitheroe City's zone, Ishak Guerrache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rabah Moll came out of the goal and Ishak Guerrache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mansour Sadaoui in the 21st minute of play forced Clitheroe City's goalkeeper Rabah Moll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mansour Sadaoui succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ishak Guerrache in the 32nd minute of play forced Clitheroe City's goalkeeper Rabah Moll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clitheroe City's Bakku Ahmed got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Verwood FC's Lili Belmellat got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Clitheroe City's Mahboub Otman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 48th minute of the match Mahboub Otman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nasser Sahnouni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half Verwood FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mansour Sadaoui made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ishak Guerrache notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Clitheroe City's Rabah Moll. Rabah Moll was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 54 minutes into the match, Clitheroe City's goal looked a bit too open when Mansour Sadaoui came free, but Rabah Moll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bakku Ahmed in the 60th minute of play forced Verwood FC's goalkeeper Nasser Sahnouni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moïse Sad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nasser Sahnouni having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Verwood FC's Bakir Hasni got a free kick in the 65th minute. Nasser Sahnouni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Rabiâ went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Clitheroe City's Rabah Moll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Clitheroe City from getting a goal against them. Ishak Guerrache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Rabah Moll made a huge save. In the 76th match minute, Clitheroe City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelaziz El Ouafi to maneuver through the defense. Rabah Moll was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sofyane Ali. Nasser Sahnouni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moïse Sad, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Nasser Sahnouni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bakku Ahmed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bakir Hasni kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Nasser Sahnouni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moïse Sad in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Bakir Hasni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verwood FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clitheroe City the free kick. After 94 played minutes Verwood FC got a freekick which was hit by Bakir Hasni. Nasser Sahnouni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moïse Sad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Clitheroe City booed when Verwood FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nabil Abrika didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moïse Sad kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Verwood FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
