In the 4th minute, Abderraouf Ferrah reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Madjid Khelfellah. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, Dunchurch AFC's Rachid Zerguelaine got a free kick in the 7th minute. Hafid Benguesmia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Madjid Khelfellah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdel Klouchi kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Hafid Benguesmia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Madjid Khelfellah made a huge save. Hafid Benguesmia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madjid Khelfellah having to interfere. Madjid Khelfellah didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abderraouf Ferrah went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Rachid Zerguelaine's late challenge caught a Norby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rachid Zerguelaine helped the player get up and apologised. Rachid Zerguelaine hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. If Younes Béchar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nasreddine Bestandji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Menad Thabet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Younes Béchar in the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dunchurch AFC's Lounes Ghozali got a free kick in the 37th minute. Menad Thabet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Younes Béchar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Norby's zone, Hafid Benguesmia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Madjid Khelfellah came out of the goal and Hafid Benguesmia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Madjid Khelfellah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abderraouf Ferrah in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nasreddine Bestandji to strike the kick off in the second half. Abderraouf Ferrah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madjid Khelfellah having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Younes Béchar got free with Menad Thabet in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Norby:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dunchurch AFC:s goal. The referee gave Dunchurch AFC a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mustapha Arrache, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Norby's Madjid Khelfellah. 3-2. Menad Thabet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Younes Béchar in the 63rd minute. Malik Zaaboub hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Norby's Madjid Khelfellah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hafid Benguesmia in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Nasreddine Bestandji managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norby's supporters rose to their feet, but Nasreddine Bestandji was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Menad Thabet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Younes Béchar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Dunchurch AFC's Hafid Benguesmia got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Younes Béchar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Menad Thabet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dunchurch AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Norby had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
